
Egyptian Prime Minister Sherif Ismail will chair on Tuesday the second meeting of the Egyptian-Saudi coordination committee which will be chaired on the Saudi side by Prince Mohamed ben Salman ben Abdel Aziz, the deputy crown prince and defense minister.
Egyptian ambassador in Riyadh Nasser Hamdy told MENA on Sunday that the meeting is part of the keenness of the Egyptian and Saudi political leaderships, represented in President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and King Salam ben Abdel Aziz, to cement the two countries' relations.
He said the first meeting witnessed an agreement on forming working teams to hold regular meetings between the two countries to follow up the agreements reached in various domains.
On the volume of investments, the ambassador said the kingdom is the biggest Arab country investing in Egypt as its investments in Egypt are estimated at 5.7 billion dollars while the Egyptian investments in kingdom amount to 1.1 billion dollars.
