The Supreme Judicial Council approved on Sunday the anti-terror bill.
The council made some observations with regard to the procedural matters included in the bill.
Such observations will be submitted to Minister of Transitional Justice Ibrahim el Henidy, and then to the State Council for legal review.
The council decided also to assign judge Ali Omran to assume tasks of Egypt's slain prosecutor general Hesham Barakat, who was killed in a terrorist attack on his motorcade Monday.
Omran, who was serving as director of the judicial inspection at the public prosecution, is the longest-serving assistant prosecutor general.
