Egypt’s amb. to Iraq urges nationals to rectify status
Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi receives the Egyptian Ambassador in Baghdad

Egypt's Ambassador in Baghdad Ahmed Darwish called on Egyptian expatriates who reside illegally in Iraq to rectify their status.
In a statement to MENA, Darwish urged those who stay in all Iraqi provinces in violation of residency requirements to legalize their conditions at the Interior Ministry’s departments of residency affairs nationwide.
Also, he pointed to facilitation provided by the Interior Ministry and Iraqi authorities for Egyptian workers to finalize their residency papers.
