
The Ambassador of Egypt to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Essam Awad, said that the scheduled visit of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to the Kingdom in January reaffirms the deep-rooted bilateral relations and comes in appreciation of the Kingdom's noble positive stances towards Egypt and its people.
The ambassador told the Bahrain-based Al Ayam newspaper that the dossier of Gulf-Egyptian relations gets utmost attention from the President with emphasis on consolidating and boosting these relations. And regarding topics of discussion, the Egyptian Ambassador said that usually talks during such high-level visits would bolster the bilateral relations.
President El Sisi had earlier told the Cairo-based Al Ahram newspaper that he intends to embark on a Gulf tour which includes Kuwait, Bahrain and UAE early January.
