Egyptian Ambassador to Sudan Osama Shaltout has praised Sudan's stance supporting Egypt in its war against terrorism.
During a phone call with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir stressed his country's support for Egypt, Shaltout told MENA correspondent here.
Sudan was one of the first countries, which slammed a heinous crime committed by Daesh group against Egyptians Copts in Libya, Shaltout said.
Shaltout called for unifying regional and international efforts to take strong steps against terrorists.
The deteriorating situation in Libya represents a clear threat to international peace and security, he said.
