
Egypt's Ambassador to Yemen Youssef El Sharkawy on Wednesday reiterated Cairo’s support to Yemen’s stability and sovereignty.
El Sharkawy made the remarks in a meeting with Yemen’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Abdul Malik Al Mekhlafi in Riyadh.
During the meeting, the latest developments in Yemen were discussed, Yemeni media said.
Al Mekhlafi, for his part, briefed El Sharkawy on militants’ assaults against civilians and their violations of relevant international resolutions.
He hailed Egypt’s positive role and supportive stances in the UN Security Council as well as its support to legitimacy in Yemen.
