Egypt's interior ministry on high alert ahead of Christmas

The Interior Ministry will be on high alert as of Wednesday, Dec 24 through January 7 to secure Christmas celebrations.
All vacations have been cancelled, a high-ranking security official told MENA on Tuesday, adding that all officers and conscripts have been called for duty.
The Interior Ministry has outlined a plan to secure all churches and vital facilities, as well as parks, the source said.
