Ambassador Abdel Rahman Salahuddine, Egypt's Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab Affairs and head of the Egyptian delegation participating in the international march against terrorism, due to kick off later in the day, said Egypt's participation is an expression of solidarity with Tunis against the spread of the terrorism disease which demolishes countries and peoples under the name of religion.
In statements to MENA, Ambassador Salahuddine said the Egyptian delegation will convey condolences of the Egyptian people and government to their Tunisian counterparts over the terrorist attack on Bardo museum.
Egypt's participation comes to declare its support for Tunisia's war on terrorism, he added.
Egypt and Tunisia are continuing joint cooperation to combat terrorism which has become an escalating threat to the whole Arab world, the ambassador said.
