Egypt's Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Wednesday denied media reports that he withdrew from a press conference with his Tunisian counterpart Habib Essid in Tunis Tuesday.
It was planned to comment on only two questions and I have already responded to them, the Egyptian prime minister said.
The second question was asked by a member of the evil group "the Muslim Brotherhood" and I commented on by saying "It's an internal issue', Mahlab said.
During a meeting with the Egyptian media entourage, Mahlab stressed that Cairo and Tunis share the same visions and stances as well as challenges.
The visit was "more than successful", the primer said, pointing out that the two countries are keen on increasing the bilateral cooperation.
Mahlab noted that he insisted on attending the conference despite warnings that a number of "Muslim Brotherhood" will take part in the conference.
He said that such malicious attempts would not stop Egyptians from building the country.
