
The public security department at the Interior Ministry resumed its campaigns to arrest outlaws as well as owners of unlicensed weapons and restore security to the street.
The campaigns, which were launched upon directives by Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghafar, resulted in seizing 128 unlicensed weapons, a workshop for manufacturing arms and arresting three gangs over the past 24 hours.
It also resulted in seizing 219 pieces of cold weapons, nabbing 155 fugitives and retrieving six stolen cars.
The security apparatuses notified the prosecution to open probes.
