
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi held a meeting on Thursday with King Abdullah II of Jordan on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The two leaders discussed means to forge closer relations between Egypt and Jordan, according to a Jordanian Royal Court statement.
During the meeting, King Abdullah reviewed challenges facing Jordan to combat terrorism, the statement said.
They also reiterated support to regional and international efforts exerted to address threats of terrorist organizations in the region under an effective strategy to maintain global peace and security.
Both sides have also discussed economic relations and means to preserve joint interest.
