HH the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani hosted last night in New York a dinner banquet in honour of Heads of the Arab countries'' delegations participating in the 66th session of the U.N. General Assembly meetings. The banquet was attended by King Abdullah II of Jordan, President of the Republic of Lebanon General Michel Sleiman, the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Djibouti''s President Ismail Omar Guelleh and President of the Union of Comoros Ikililou Dhoinine. It was also attended by a number of Their Excellencies the heads of Arab delegations, GCC Secretary-General Dr. Abdul Latif al-Zayani, Arab League- Secretary General Dr Nabil Al-Arabi and the Secretary -General of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu. HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani, HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Emiri Diwan Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, and a number of Their Excellencies the members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Emir also attended the banquet.
