
The Emirates Red Crescent has continued distributing winter aid to families affected by affected by the blizzards in Lebanon, within the framework of the second phase of the Tarahamou campaign.
The second phase of the campaign is in accordance with the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region and Chairman of the Emirates Red Crescent. The second phase aims to benefit 16,000 displaced Syrian and Palestinian families, in addition to a thousand Iraqi families who fled to Lebanon recently.
The Emirates Red Crescent's team distributed 700 parcels to 700 Syrian refugees families affected by the blizzards in the village of Khraibet al-Jundi, north of Tripoli.
Khaled Taha, the village's Mayor, expressed his thanks to the UAE government and people, and the Emirates Red Crescent for their relief aid to the Syrian refugees and those affected by the blizzards.
