Emirates Red Crescent distributes 2500 food baskets in Mukalla, Yemen

The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, yesterday began distributing 2,500 food baskets to underprivileged families in the city of Mukalla, as part of its distribution of food baskets project. 

The ERC delegation pointed out that the distribution process was completed according to accurate mechanisms for the delivery of food aid to those who deserve it, stressing that this relief aid is an important move for thousands of affected families who are suffering from difficult economic conditions, as it eases the suffering they are going through as a result of circumstances in Yemen. 

A few days ago, the Emirates Red Crescent opened a health centre equipped with various equipment to provide health services to the population. –
