Beji Caid Essebsi of Nidaa Tounes took the lead and Moncef Marzouki came second in Tunisian presidential elections, Independent High Authority for Elections (ISIE) said on Tuesday, adding that Essebsi got 39.46 percent while Marzouki won 33.4 percent.
By these results, both rivals will face each other in a December presidential elections run-off, ISIE's President Shafik Sarsar told a press conference Tuesday.
He added that Hama Al-Hamami and Mohamed Hechmi Hamdi came third and fourth respectively.
