F15 fighter jet crashes off Eastern region

An F-15 fighter jet of the Royal Saudi Air Forces has crashed on Saudi territorial waters off the Eastern Region, an official source said on Monday. The plane piloted by officer Fahad Bin Faleh Al-Msarir took off on Sunday evening from a training area at King Abdulaziz Air Base in the Eastern region for a routine training mission when the accident happened. A search for the pilot is still under way said the source, who added that competent authorities have formed a technical team to investigate the cause of the accident. From : Arabnews
