
Tourism Ministry said that an incident where an employee in a Sharm El Sheikh hotel raised a fake gun towards a guest in the hotel was only for entertainment and will not be repeated.
Spokesman of the ministry Rasha el Azazi said that the photo that spread on social websites of the employee was only part of an entertainment show presented by the hotel for 15 years where the employee acts the famous character of James Bond.
The Tourism minister gave directions to the hotel not to repeat this show to maintain the reputation of the Egyptian tourism, she said.
The ministry made sure that the show was only acting and surveyed the opinions of 800 tourists over the nature of the show, Azazi said.
