Fired manager 'threatened to kill boss'

A manager fired after a one-month probation period threatened to kill his boss before demanding Dh60,000 compensation, the Dubai Criminal Court heard today. Prosecutors said that MF, a 27-year-old logistic manager at the company, told an employee who was trying to eject him from the building: "Ask the police to shoot me - otherwise I will shoot him". He denied the charge and said his previous employer had given up his claim. A verdict was scheduled for June 24. By The National
