
The first meeting of the joint Egyptian-Saudi coordinating committee kicked off here on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Egypt's Prime Minister Sherif Ismail and Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, who is also the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense.
The meeting, attended also by a host of Egyptian and Saudi officials, is scheduled to discuss of number of issues of mutual interest, areas of cooperation and the situation in Yemen, Libya and Syria.
The broad outlines will be drawn up in preparation of signing a number of cooperation agreements between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, especially that the later is the first Arab trade partner of Egypt.
The meeting aims to further promote bilateral cooperation and develop the volume of trade exchange.
