
Foreign Minister Sameh Shokri telephoned his Saudi counterpart Saud al-Faisal and Nasser Judeh of Jordan Saturday to discuss the latest developments in Gaza and Iraq.
Shokri was on his way back home from Iraq via Jordan. He had spent the night in Baghdad.
He posted his counterparts on the outcome of his visit to Iraq during which he met with Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and Deputy Prime Minister for Energy, Hussein Shahristani and a number of political leaders.
He also talked about Egyptian efforts to stop the Israeli attacks on Gaza.
