
Arab foreign ministers held on Sunday a closed consultative meeting ahead of the 144th session of the Arab League council.
Arab League Secretary-General Nabil el Arabi presided over the meeting.
The ministers followed up the implementation of resolutions concerning preserving the Arab national security and combating terrorist groups.
The 144th session will continue discussions of political, economic and social pan-Arab files.
The discussions will also cover reports submitted by the permanent representative meeting over the past two days.
The meeting will also tackle the latest developments in Palestine, Syria, Libya, Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, Sudan, Somalia and Comoros.
They will also discuss other issues including Iranian occupation of three UAE islands, freeing the Middle East from nuclear weapons and all other weapons of mass destruction.
