
Arab foreign ministers came together here on Saturday for an extraordinary meeting mainly purposed to ponder over the Palestinian issue, with Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas and Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Al-Araby attending.
Kuwait is participating in the meeting with a delegation led by First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
During their meeting, Arab foreign ministers are discussing ways and means of backing the Palestinian issued by means of rallying up support for a UN Arab draft resolution aiming to put an end to the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories according to a definite timetable.
The Palestinian leader will brief the conferees on steps and moves to be taken by the Palestinian leadership at the UN Security Council in this regard.
The ministers are expected to come up with Arab political and diplomatic efforts to end the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories.
