Foiling terrorist attempt proves security forces' efficiency, readiness

Lebanese Forces MP, Antoine Zahra, said in an interview with the 'nbn' channel that "the security forces' successful operation which led to foiling the suicide-attack that was planned against Hamra's Costa cafe, and subsequently the arrest of the would-be suicide bomber, is depicted as qualitative and is proof of their efficiency and readiness."
"This operation, executed by the Army, proves a high level of readiness enjoyed by all the Lebanese security apparatuses," he said, assuring, however, that "no matter how prepared and serious security forces were, they could only be effective when given a political green light and the necessary political cover."
