Forged currency gang arrested in Bahrain

Six people suspected of dealing in forged currency have been arrested, including a woman. The General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security caught the gang in cooperation with the Southern Police Directorate following a tip off.
"Police tracked down the suspects and apprehended them within six hours after securing an arrest warrant", The General Director of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security said.
In a statement today, he said that police seize fake Gulf currencies and mobile phones which they bought using the forged money. The case was referred to the Public Prosecution for legal action.
