Fugitive killed in road accident during escape from Egyptian police

An 28-year old fugitive, sentenced to life imprisonment, was killed in a road accident on the ring road near Giza district of Nahia, a security source said on Friday.
The source said that the fugitive was trying to escape from the police during an attempt to arrest him, when a car hit him in error on the ring road.
Some of the dead's relatives cut off the ring road after the accident, the source added.
The traffic returned to normal later following the intervention of security forces, the source said.
