The security spokesman of the Interior Ministry stated that fundraising without obtaining a permit from the competent authorities represents a violation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's regulations, including a regulation of combating terrorism and financing it.
In a statement to Saudi Press agency (SPA), the spokesman added that any person and entity ( institutions and companies ) are subjected to interrogation in case of fundraising without permit.
The Ministry of Interior warned citizens and expatriates of dealing with these campaigns, calling upon them to offer donations to the King Salman Centre for Relief and Humanitarian Aid and the Saudi National Campaign to Support Brothers in Syria or the national charities authorised by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Endowments and the Ministry of Labour and National Development.
