GCC Secretary General Abdullateef Al-Zayani reiterated Sunday support of Arab League and GCC to Yemen, as well as backing of President Abdo Rabbu Mansour Hadi's efforts to implement outcomes of the country's the National Dialogue Conference, local media reported.
Al-Zayani, in a phone conversation with President Hadi, also announced Gulf States' support to Yemen end the political crisis, considering any Yemeni political anti-reconciliation movement as an obstacle of the GCC initiative and its executive mechanism, Yemen News Agency (SABA) reported.
He also assured the international community's support to Yemen, stressing that security of Yemen was linked to that of the Gulf and Arabian Peninsula, said SABA.
Destabilizing Yemen's security and unity, as well as hindering path of the political process and implementation of National Dialogue outcomes in order to meet aspirations of its people, are intolerable, Al-Zayani said.
