
State Audit Bureau deputy chief Adel Al-Saraawi said that Gulf Cooperation Council counterpart body representatives would discuss further equipping staff so that they may carry out duties in a more able manner.
Topics on the agenda also include unifying mechanisms and working methods, and improving the efficiency of audit bodies across the six-nation bloc, he said in a keynote speech at talks on the matter.
He specifically referred to 'peer review' as a form as self critical assessment, he said, member states could work together to achieve in order to keep up with fast-paced changes on the regional and international fronts.
