Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani expressed on Saturday his deep sorrow over the failure of the Yemeni peace talks held in the Swiss city of Geneva between the Yemeni rivals.
He called on parties opposing the Yemeni legitimate government to stop working for their own factional interests and to look forward to all Yemenis' interests.
He also hailed the United Nations' efforts in working on implementing the UN Security Council's resolution that aims to preserve security and stability in Yemen and the whole region.
Zayani also reiterated the GCC’s support for the legitimate government, led by President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi.
