GCC FMs ends meeting over Yemen

Foreign Ministers of six Arab Gulf countries concluded an urgent meeting in Riyadh Saturday after discussing, among other things, developments in Yemen and the Houthi control of power in that Arab country.
The top diplomats discussed a unifying positions vis-a-vis developments in Yemen, in addition to a host of Gulf, regional and international matters of common interest.
A statement is expected to be released later about issues discussed by the foreign ministers.
The meeting was chaired by Qatari Foreign Minister Dr. Khaled Al-Attiyah, whose country holds the rotating presidency of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
Earlier, Al-Attiyah called on the international community, particularly the UN Security Council (UNSC), to live up to their responsibilities to put an end to the "illegitimate measures" that took place in Yemen.
Kuwait is represented by First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
