
The 12th meeting of the GCC ministerial commission for following on joint action's resolutions got underwway here on Sunday.
Kuwait's Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Khaled Suleiman Al-Jarallah is taking part in the meeting, attended by his GCC counterparts.
Mohammad Al-Rumaihi, the assistant of the Qatari foreign minister, said in a statement at the meeting that the GCC had achieved a lot of accomplishments for service of the GCC citizens' interests, urging for greater efforts at the level of joint action. He also called on the GCC leaderships to ensure implementation of some previously taken resolutions that serve the common acts among the council member states.
For his part the GCC Secretary General Abdullatif Al-Zayani indicated that the GCC leaders assigned, during a meeting held in Kuwait in December, the GCC Secretariat General to hold an educational workshop about the GCC joint action resolutions.
Al-Zayani praised efforts exterted by the relevant ministerial commission for following up on these resolutions' implementation, hoping that the necessary legislations in this respect be enacted.
