
The Supreme Council condemned the terrorist bombing in Lebanon which resulted in killing many innocent people, calling on all parties involved to put the country's national interest first. In their final communique of the 34th GCC summit, GCC leaders also called on forming a Lebanese government as soon as possible, preserving Lebanon's sovereignty, and avoid the Syrian crisis repercussions. The statement also called for the withdrawal of "Hezbollah's militias from inside Syria." On another front, the council discussed the latest developments in Yemen, and called on all parties involved to join the comprehensive national dialogue and put Yemen's national interest first. The council praised as well efforts exerted by Yemeni President Abdo Rabbu Mansour Hadi in leading the transitional period and implement mechanisms of the GCC initiative. The supreme council condemned as well the recent terrorist attack on Yemen's Defense Ministry in Sanaa, affirming on the council support to Yemen and all procedures taken to ensure safety and security of the country
