
Shura Council First Deputy President Jamal Mohamed Fakhro affirmed that parliamentary cooperation among GCC legislative institutions towards various matters in international parliamentary gatherings is a progress in the desired GCC integration march, as an activation of GCC leaders' visions and ambitions.
On the sidelines of the coordination meeting for GCC participating parliamentary delegations in 131st International Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly in Geneva, the Minister voiced the importance of coordinating stances on the regional level to show the GCC strength and unified decisions, which align with Arab and Islamic nations' decisions.
He pointed out that the coordinating meetings for GCC parliamentary delegations enhance the GCC system through the participation in the various gatherings and international conferences, affirming the delegation's keenness on taking part in such meetings.
