
The 134th session of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) ministerial council started n Thursday at Riyadh Air Base.
The ministerial meeting is chaired by Qatari Foreign Minister Khalid ben Mohamed al Attiyah.
Saudi Foreign Minister Saud Al Faisal led the Saudi delegation to the meeting.
The GCC gathering will consider a number of topics related to the march of the Gulf joint action and what has so far been implemented from the decisions and recommendations issued by the council at the last session, as well as strategic dialogue with other countries and groups, in addition to the reports of ministerial committees.
It will discuss the latest Arab, regional and international developments and their repercussions on the security and stability of the region, particularly the Yemeni crisis and terrorist threats.
