The UN secretary general called for a quick end of the military operation, Sky News Arabia quoted Saudi Arabia's envoy to the UN Abdullah el Maalami as saying.
"We all want a quick end to the military operation," he said, adding that the operations will stop, when the Houthis compel to the UN resolution.
The UN resolution demands that all Yemeni parties, especially the Houthis, end violence and return swiftly to UN-led peace talks aimed at a political transition.
