
GCC Secretary General Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani praised the 5th edition of the Doha International Maritime Defense Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX 2016) which kicked off in Doha today.
Dr Al Zayani expressed his thanks and appreciation for the invitation extended to him by HE the Minister of State for Defense Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohammad Al Attiyah to attend this conference and exhibition, which is one of the most important international exhibitions that focus on the field of maritime defense and security.
The GCC Secretary General noted the important participations from major companies specialized in the fields of military industry which displayed their latest technologies and means of military defense.
Al Zayani added that organizing such international exhibitions and conferences update military personnel from around the world on the latest developments in military industry, expressing his admiration at the level of organization of DIMDEX and the number of industry companies participating in it, which shows the prestigious position occupied by the exhibition among other regional and international specialized exhibitions in the fields of military defense.
