Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani has today called on all political forces and warring factions to transcend their disputes and sit at the table of dialogue to explore a political process which would protect their country’s territorial integrity.
In a statement today, Dr. Al-Zayani stressed the importance of engaging in an all-inclusive process to usher in a new phase of security and stability. He extended support to the efforts being made by the Special Envoy of the UN Secretary General to Libya Bernadino Leon to mediate between warring factions and political forces so as to explore a way-out for Libya to escape from the cauldron of violence.
