
The 4th General Conference of the National Congress Party (NCP) in the Blue Nile State will start Friday at the premises of the NCP in Damazin in presence of the Assistant of the President of the Republic and Deputy Chairman of NCP for the Party Affairs, Prof. Ibrahim Ghandour, and a number of leaderships of the centre and state and the leaderships of the political forces in the state.
In a statement to SUNA, the Wali (governor) of the Blue Nile State and Chairman of the NCP in the state, Hussien Yasin, said that a specialized committees have prepared an ambitious program to make the conference activities successful and model for the other states, pledging that the conference recommendations will comply with Shura and Democracy and in line with the next stage requirements.
Meanwhile, the Secretary General of Information at NCP in the state, Alawiya Khamis, explained that the conference will discuss a paper on the national dialogue, the challenges, review the NCP achievements and hearing to two speeches from Ghandour and the Wali, adding that the nominations of the party and candidates for the position of the Wali (governor) of the state will be referred to the centre.
