
On the sidelines of the visit of the Tunisian Prime Minister Mehdi Jomaa to the Kingdom, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ghanim bin Fadhl Al-Buainain met here today the Tunisian Foreign Minister Mongi Hamdi. Al-Buainain affirmed the kingdom's keenness to support Tunisia in various fields, and boost bilateral ties for the benefit of the brotherly peoples.He praised the on-going cooperation and coordination between the two countries, pledging that Bahrain will stand by Tunisia at this stage until security and stability are restored there.The Tunisian Foreign Minister informed the Minister of State about the efforts of the Tunisian government to combat extremism and reinforce security and stability in Tunisia.Issues of joint interest were also discussed.
