
Gharbiya security chief Abdel Hamid Abdel Azim inspected on Saturday security checkpoints in the entrances and exits of the governorate on the second day of Eidul-Fitr (Lesser Bairam).
He also inspected along with head of the criminal investigation department Abdel Latif el Henawy police establishments and traffic checkpoints.
Abdel Azim said that the security situation throughout the governorate is stable and all the governmental and vital establishments, places of worship, railways and electricity stations are fully secured.
He also warned that security forces will firmly confront any attempt to tamper with citizens' security.
