
Prime Minister Sherif Ismail said on Monday communication between the government and members of parliament will continue to serve the best interests of the nation and the people.
Ismail made the remarks during his meeting with members of the parliament’s health committee, which comes as part of his efforts to follow up social and economic files.
The four-hour meeting saw plenary discussions on the health file and means to improve services provided for citizens.
Providing medicines is a top priority for the government, the prime minister said, adding that the government would study increasing funds allocated for treatment at state expense.
The meeting took up the importance of maintaining the ability of the national pharmaceutical companies and studying manufacturing the active substances used in this strategic industry.
