Human Appeal International, HAI, has concluded its winter and clothing aid campaign aimed at helping underprivileged families in Gaza. The campaign had been on since two months and was targeted at improving the living conditions of around 8,700 Palestinian families.
The head of the Human Appeal International, Imad al-Haddad, said the winter aid project is one of the most important seasonal projects of the authority as thousands of poor families are apprehensive of the winter due to the dire living conditions witnessed in the Gaza Strip.
He also indicated that the budget of the project for the winter of 2015/2016 reached over US$461,000 and was funded by the HAI's offices in the UK and Australia.
