
Human Appeal International, HAI, of the UAE has announced an emergency financial aid to the families of the victims of a bus accident carrying Palestinian pilgrims, which includes allocation of financial sponsorships for the children of the victims and medical treatment for the injured.
Ibrahim Rashid, HAI Commissioner-General in the West Bank, said that Human Appeal International followed all the details related to the tragic accident which resulted in the death of 17 pilgrims and injuring of 34 others.
He added that the Human Appeal International is closely following the health condition of the pilgrims who were injured in the accident and is keen to provide help and care for them.
Sixteen Palestinian pilgrims were killed when their bus overturned in southern Jordan overnight. The passengers, all from the West Bank, were en route to a pilgrimage in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
