A year after its formation, the Palestinian national consensus government has drastically failed to secure the minimum needs of the Palestinian people, the spokesman for Hamas has said.
The government performance has been week and disappointing, Fawzi Barhoum said Tuesday, noting that this has contributed to aggravating the Palestinian suffering.
The government has only served the agenda of the movement of Fatah, which is led by President Mahmoud Abbas, Barhoum said.
The Palestinian people had expected the national consensus government to end Palestinian division and the suffering of Gazans, but it proved to be a failure, Barhoum noted.
