Hamas leader and member of the Palestinian delegation in Cairo Ezzat al-Resheq said on Sunday that the team will not give up Palestinian rights.
"We are determined to end the Israeli siege on the Gaza Strip," Resheq said.
"Our military victory will be boosted by achieving a political triumph," he added.
Resheq denied claims that the Palestinian delegation rejected an Egyptian proposal for a permanent ceasefire in the coastal enclave.
Earlier today, a Palestinian negotiating delegation led by senior Fatah member Azzam al-Ahmad arrived in Cairo to resume Egypt-mediated ceasefire talks.
