The Hamas-led government in Gaza is going to release sixFatah movement prisoners on Monday as part of inter-Palestinian reconciliationefforts. The move is a good gesture by Hamas to create the appropriate atmosphere for realreconciliation among Palestinian factions, the Interior Ministry in Gaza said in astatement. The Ministry expressed its full support for talks held among all Palestinian parties, hoping they would commit to previous agreements.Meanwhile, delegations from Ramallah-based Fatah and other Palestinian factionsare expected to arrive in Gaza on Tuesday.Relations have been tense between both Hamas and Fatah since the Islamistmovement seized full control of the Gaza Strip after deadly clashes with Fatah in2007, just months after Hamas defeated Fatah in the parliamentary election.
