Head of Cairo civil defence chief denies finding bomb near health ministry

Head of Cairo Civil Defense Department Maj. General Mamdouh Abdel Kader denied Tuesday media reports that an explosive device was found near the Health Ministry building in downtown Cairo.
Explosive experts were called to inspect a suspected car parking near the ministry premises, he said, adding that the car was clean.
The civil defense personnel and bomb experts were deployed to the area to maintain security of the place, he added.
