
The House of Representatives agreed during a session Wednesday to give vote of confidence to the government of Prime Minister Sherif Ismail.
The confidence was blessed by 433 MPs in the presence of the prime minister who arrived at the parliament headquarters earlier.
Parliament's Deputy Speaker Mahmoud el Sherif stressed that committees of the house of representatives will follow up the implementation of the government platform besides boosting vistas of coordination and cooperation between the government and parliament.
Sherif, meanwhile, underlined supporting legislative and executive infrastructure qualifying program ahead of local elections with a view to attaining sustainable development in Upper Egypt, rationalizing public spending and empowering local industries.
