House of Representatives sends supportive cable to Sisi

Egypt's new parliament on Monday stressed its support for and trust in Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
"The House of Representatives announces its support for your wise pro-democracy policies ... and foresight in combating terrorism that has no religion or nation, and nipping in the bud malicious plots against the nation and national identity," the parliament said in a cable sent to the president.
The house also asserted its support for the president's policies in closing the ranks of the Arab world amid current threats of division.
