Egypt's House Speaker Ali Abdel Aal said the June 30 revolution has protected Egypt from an unknown fate.
All Egyptians' unity in the face of the Muslim Brotherhood was the key factor in the success of the revolution, Abdel Aal said during a visit to the Evagelical Church in Heliopolis to greet the Christians on Easter.
All political or social and religious identities melt inside the Egyptian identity as everyone is equal in rights and duties as guaranteed by the Constitution and the law, he added.
For his part, ad of the Evangelical Church Andrea Zaki said that the Egyptian revolution protected the Christians in the region from an unknown fate.
